This ocean drum really sounds like the waves crashing on the ocean. I sit at home and get lost in the sound. I am glad i got the big one because it really works well and feels very strong too. i like to move it slow and then fast and the really slow, like one or two metal beads at a time. it calms me and grounds me and lets me escape for a brief moment. I put the tissue box so you can see just how big this one drum is but it is very light and not too hard to handle

I was worried that the big size was going to be too big but it hasn't been an issue at all! In fact, I've been getting so many compliments and questions about my 22-in ocean drum when I use it in my sound healing sessions and in my body work sessions. People just love it. Even if I'm in just a small room, the sound just fills it up like the sound of the ocean, and when I'm in a larger room with more people, the sound is just right. Now if only I can find somebody to play my ocean drum for me too LOL.
I bought this to use in my groups and it has been one of my best investments. Great tool for emotional expression especially those who have a harder time with words.
It's very cathartic and calming to use.
I had no idea how my sister was going to react to this gift but she does all kinds of healing modalities for people and I thought this would be the perfect gift to welcome her into her new space. At first she was confused at what it was, but then her face just lit up when I showed her how to use her new ocean drum. Trust me when I tell you it was like an ocean bath for the rest of the night. The sounds of waves was really suprising and relaxing too. I am going to use this in my classroom for check-ins. I watched the youtube video that showed the shaking too that was really cool, like thunder or strong rain. It brought back memories from my childhood
