The BeMindful Bowl® was created for people who want a deeper sound experience without making every meditation about mastering technique. Its heavyweight, copper-rich bell-metal body produces a strong, warm vibration that can continue to ring for a minute—and often longer with a clean, controlled strike.
The BeMindful Bowl® is ZenProspera's most loved signature singing bowl because the experience goes beyond the bowl itself. Every set is built around ease, versatility and intentional practice.
The BeMindful Bowl® has a primary tonal center around A, with prominent F and D overtones. Together, those layers create the full, dimensional character that makes this bowl feel substantially different from a small, lightweight singing bowl.
The central tone of the bowl. In traditional chakra associations, A is often connected with the third-eye chakra.
Adds warmth and dimension. In traditional chakra associations, F is often connected with the heart chakra.
Adds another audible layer. In traditional chakra associations, D is often connected with the sacral chakra.
Because each BeMindful Bowl® is handmade, exact pitch, overtone strength and sustain can vary slightly from bowl to bowl. Chakra-note associations reflect traditional sound-healing practices.
One of the details that makes The BeMindful Bowl® different is that you are not limited to one playing technique. Use the rubber mallet for effortless, sustained resonance—or practice the traditional singing technique with the wooden mallet.
This is the signature BeMindful Bowl® experience. A firm, controlled tap can activate a powerful vibration through the heavyweight bowl, allowing you to stop working on technique and simply follow the sound.
Rest the bowl on its cushion or hold it on an open, flat palm without gripping the sides.
Strike the outside of the bowl near the upper inch with a firm, controlled tap.
Let the mallet rebound immediately. Do not leave the mallet pressed against the bowl.
Listen as the warm vibration oscillates, expands and gradually fades—often continuing for a minute or longer.
The wooden mallet gives you the traditional experience of making a singing bowl “sing.” This technique is a skill—and it is completely normal for beginners to need a little practice.
Hold the bowl on your open palm with your fingers relaxed and away from the sides.
Give the bowl a gentle tap first to activate its initial tone.
Bring the wooden mallet to the outside rim and begin moving steadily around the circumference.
Maintain consistent speed and constant, even pressure. As the vibration builds, the singing tone begins to emerge.
The signature CUE engraving inside The BeMindful Bowl® is a visual reminder that this is not simply an object to own—it is a tool to return to. The engraving is a distinctive detail of the CUE edition and brings the meditation practice directly into the ritual.
Your purchase includes access to the self-paced CUE™ Meditation Practice course as it launches, including beginner guidance for meditation and practical instruction for using singing bowls.
The BeMindful Bowl® is equally at home in a personal meditation practice or in a facilitated space. Its clear strike and sustained resonance make it useful when you want to invite attention, mark a transition or create a shared pause.
Use sound to open or close a circle, mark a transition, invite a collective pause or help participants return their attention to the shared space.
A distinctive mindfulness cue for retreats, trainings, leadership sessions, team resets and reflective learning.
Use its sustained tone during transitions, meditation, breathwork, savasana or intentional moments of stillness.
A complete, gift-ready set for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, new beginnings or anyone building a mindfulness practice.
Hear from the people who have brought The BeMindful Bowl® into their meditation practice, sound work, classrooms, groups and everyday moments of pause.
The BeMindful Bowl® is not a thin, lightweight decorative bowl. Its weight, curved profile and substantial wall construction are part of what give it the physical presence and sustained vibration that customers notice the moment they pick it up.
Each bowl is handmade in Nepal from a copper-rich bell-metal alloy selected for durability, resonance and tonal character. The rounded profile expands outward through the center of the bowl, which is why its widest point is larger than the six-inch opening.
More material gives the bowl a substantial physical presence and allows vibration to move through the body of the bowl after it is struck. That sustained resonance is one of the defining characteristics of The BeMindful Bowl®.
Your bowl may look remarkably polished, but it is still a handmade sound instrument. Small variations are part of the character of an individually crafted bowl—not necessarily a defect.
Significant damage, cracks or functional defects are different. If anything about your bowl concerns you when it arrives, contact ZenProspera and we will help you evaluate it.
We understand that choosing a singing bowl online is personal. You have 30 days to make sure The BeMindful Bowl® feels right for your practice.
If you decide it is not for you, the bowl can be returned in the same condition in which it was received, without damage, in accordance with ZenProspera's posted return policy.
Traditional rim singing is a skill. If your bowl taps beautifully but you are having trouble producing the continuous singing tone, that does not mean anything is wrong with your bowl.
Contact us and we can help you troubleshoot your grip, pressure and technique—including complimentary video support when needed.

The complete set includes the 6-inch BeMindful Bowl®, the rubber mallet, the wooden mallet, a teal-and-gold silk cushion, the gift-ready box and the CUE™ Meditation Practice. Your purchase also includes access to ZenProspera's self-paced CUE™ Meditation Practice course as it launches.
The opening across the top is approximately 6 inches. Because the bowl has a rounded, outward-curving profile, its widest exterior point through the center is approximately 6.5 inches. The bowl weighs approximately 3.8–3.9 pounds.
Because each bowl is handmade, small variations in size and weight are normal.
The BeMindful Bowl® is handmade in Nepal from a premium, copper-rich bell-metal alloy. The substantial material and curved shape contribute to the bowl's durability, physical presence and rich resonant character.
Yes. These are handmade sound instruments. Although The BeMindful Bowl® is finished to a very polished appearance, subtle surface marks, tiny handmade variations, polishing lines or small scuffs can occur.
You may also notice subtle changes in coloration over time. Copper-rich metal alloys can naturally develop tonal or patina variations through handling, air exposure and normal use. These characteristics do not automatically indicate a defect and generally do not affect the bowl's sound.
If your bowl arrives with significant damage or anything that concerns you, contact ZenProspera so we can review it with you.
Because each mallet creates a different experience.
The rubber mallet is the easiest and most frequently used option. It produces a strong initial vibration and long, warm resonance with a single controlled tap.
The wooden mallet is used for the traditional rim-singing technique, where steady pressure and movement around the rim build a continuous singing tone.
Place the bowl on its cushion or hold it on a flat, open palm without gripping its sides. Give the outside of the bowl a firm, controlled strike near the upper inch and allow the rubber mallet to rebound immediately.
Holding the mallet against the bowl after the strike can stop the vibration. A clean tap-and-release allows the bowl to oscillate freely.
With a clean rubber-mallet strike, The BeMindful Bowl® can produce a long sustained tone that may remain audible for around a minute and sometimes longer.
Exact sustain varies with the individual handmade bowl, striking force, where the bowl is struck, how it is supported, the room and ambient noise.
Start with the bowl on an open, flat palm and keep your fingers away from the sides. Give the bowl a light tap to activate its tone. Then place the wooden mallet against the outer rim and begin moving around the circumference with consistent speed and steady pressure.
Traditional singing-bowl technique is a learned skill. It may take several attempts to find the combination of grip, speed and pressure that works best for you.
That is completely normal—especially if this is your first singing bowl. The ability to create the continuous rim tone is partly technique.
If you need help, contact ZenProspera. We can walk you through the process and, when useful, provide complimentary video support to help you adjust your grip, pressure and movement.
No—and that is one of the main reasons The BeMindful Bowl® includes the rubber mallet.
A single controlled rubber-mallet tap can create a long, resonant tone. Instead of concentrating on keeping the bowl singing, you can allow your attention to follow the sound, your breathing and your meditation.
The bowl has a primary tonal center around A, with prominent F and D overtones. In traditional chakra-note associations, A is commonly connected with the third-eye chakra, F with the heart chakra and D with the sacral chakra.
Because the bowls are handmade, individual pitch and overtone strength can vary slightly.
The interior CUE engraving is a signature feature of this edition and a visual reminder of the CUE™ Meditation Practice: Center your awareness, Unclench and Exhale.
It gives the bowl a distinctive ZenProspera CUE identity while also serving a practical purpose each time you begin your meditation ritual. For assurance that you are receiving the intended ZenProspera product, purchase through ZenProspera or an authorized sales channel.
Yes. Beginners can start immediately with the rubber mallet: tap once and listen. You do not have to master rim singing before using the bowl for mindfulness or meditation.
The included CUE™ practice and self-paced course are designed to provide additional structure for people who want help beginning or deepening a meditation routine.
Yes. Its sustained tone makes it useful as an audible transition cue in yoga, meditation groups, restorative practices, workplace trainings, retreats, circles and facilitated sessions.
Many facilitators appreciate being able to create a clear, intentional moment of attention with a single tap rather than having to maintain a continuous rim-singing technique.
Yes. The BeMindful Bowl® arrives as a complete set with both mallets, its decorative silk cushion, CUE™ Meditation Practice and gift-ready box.
It can be a meaningful gift for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, graduations, new beginnings, wellness milestones or anyone interested in mindfulness, meditation, yoga or sound.
ZenProspera wants you to love your bowl. You have 30 days to evaluate it. If you decide it is not the right fit, it can be returned in the same condition in which it was received, without damage, subject to ZenProspera's posted return policy.
Handle it with clean, dry hands when possible and wipe the surface gently with a soft dry cloth. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners that could alter the finish.
Subtle patina and tonal changes in the metal can develop naturally over time and are part of living with a copper-rich handmade sound instrument.
Still wondering whether The BeMindful Bowl® is the right fit? We would rather help you choose confidently than leave you guessing.
A heavyweight handmade bowl. Two different playing experiences. A guided meditation practice. And a sound designed to stay with you long after the first tap.
